Chuba Akpom and Kelechi
Iheanacho – were on the scoresheet,
as Arsenal came from behind to beat
Manchester City 3-2 in a pre-season
friendly on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s men took the lead
through Sergio Aguero in the first
half, before Iwobi equalized after
the break with a controlled finish.
Theo Walcott and Akpom scored to
establish a two-goal lead for the
Gunners, before Iheanacho pulled
one back late in the second half.
Arsenal will open their Premier
League campaign at home to
Liverpool next Sunday, while City
will be away to Stoke City on
Saturday.
